We started Bon Vivant`W as two single mums. Stretched thin, a little tired, and completely out of time. A twenty product routine was never going to happen, and neither was a full face most mornings. There was not always money for it, and there was never the minutes for it.

But we still wanted to feel like ourselves. To glow a little. To have one quiet moment in the day that belonged to us and nobody else.

It started with Paulina, an idea and a first sample on her own face. When it was ready she found Antronia, who knew exactly what real skin needs, and from there we built the rest together.

We had both been taking ashwagandha for a while, and we loved it. It kept showing up everywhere we went, like it was following us home. So we kept going, experimenting again and again, on our own faces, for two years, until one little balm did the job of a whole bag.

Bon Vivant means someone who loves life. That is the whole point. Even on the hard days, even stretched to the edge, we wanted to enjoy ours.

The W stands for wellness. And the mark before it is not an apostrophe, it is a backtick. It leans forward instead of closing off. We kept it because it reads like a breath. Bon Vivant, a small pause, then the W. Touch, breathe, connect. The name does the same thing the ritual does.
